Dr. Ryan Richards is a University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. As a Fulbright Futures Scholar at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, he worked with some of the world’s leading researchers on photocatalytic technologies that use light to drive chemical conversions. His Fulbright connected his U.S. research group with the Australian experts to complement its work on new synthetic methods to control the size, shape and composition of nanoscale materials for applications in energy technologies.
Dr. Scott M. Waring is a scholar of American history and a Professor of Social Science Education and the Associate Director for Internationalization and Research in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in social science methodology, research, and theory, using primary sources such as letters from John Adams to teach history.
