Laszlo Orszagh Distinguished Award in American Studies

Teach one lecture or seminar course per semester (three hours per week) at undergraduate and/or graduate levels. Scholar may also offer short-term courses for Hungarian faculty and assist in curriculum development.

Hungarian Academy of Sciences Research Award (All Disciplines)

Conduct research in any area of interest, preferably in collaboration with Hungarian scholars employed in the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Centres of Excellence ("MTA Centres of Excellence").

Fulbright-Budapest Semesters in Mathematics-Rényi Institute Scholar Award in Mathematics

The Scholar is welcome to conduct a research project of their own choosing. Alternatively, the Scholar may take part in the Renyi Institute’s research activities: typical research projects involve combinatorics, combinatorial optimization, number theory, mathematical foundations of artificial intelligence and network theory, algebraic geometry or topology, to mention a few.
