The Scholar will be expected to teach two courses, and will be welcome to conduct their own research or join the university’s research projects. If the research component of the award is more substantial, the Scholar will be expected to teach only one course.

Teach one lecture or seminar course per semester (three hours per week) at undergraduate and/or graduate levels. For those proposing teaching/research, the research component should be a maximum of 30% and the teaching a minimum of 70%.

Conduct research in any area of interest, preferably in collaboration with Hungarian scholars employed in the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Centres of Excellence ("MTA Centres of Excellence").

The Scholar is welcome to conduct a research project of their own choosing.
