The main focus of the award is to foster collaborative research activities with the University. That would be done mainly by developing ideas for collaborative research initiatives aimed at the European Union and/or U.S. funding organizations incorporating her/his specific expertise into the projects.

Teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses designated by the host institution, and conducting a research project of the applicant´s choosing or as designated by the host institution.

Please note that while much of the information on the host institution’s website is available in Spanish, the academic environment is highly international and most faculty members speak English.
