Preference will be given to research activities that involve collaboration with local scholars and think tanks and demonstrate a strong bilateral relationship between the U.S. and Singapore. Grantees may choose to teach undergraduate or graduate courses, conduct research, or do a combination of both.

Conduct collaborative research in an area of specialization on an issue of priority to ASEAN or to the U.S.-ASEAN relationship in 2-3 ASEAN countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
