Congratulations on receiving a Fulbright grant! Orientation Information

As part of your Fulbright grant, you are required to attend a virtual Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) from June 10-13, 2024. The PDO will provide sessions and activities to help you prepare for your upcoming experience. You will receive an email in mid-May that will direct you to the PDO website where you can register for the event. If you have any questions regarding the PDO, please email FulbrightPDO.EAP@iie.org.

It is highly recommended that you contact the Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy upon arrival to let them know you are in country and to set up an arrival meeting.

Online Media

· CNA: CNA (an acronym of its former name, Channel Newsasia), is an English language Asian news network. Positioned to “Understand Asia”, it reports on global developments with Asian perspectives.

· The Straits Times is Singapore’s national daily paper. It charges for its content online but one can view the headlines to get a sense of what’s covered in the daily news.

· TODAY is a free paper distributed at major metro stations in Singapore. The online content is free.

· Mothership.sg is a community news and lifestyle website for Singaporeans.
