The S-I-R will be teaching within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The Scholar will research in the area of ocean energy and hydropower and will help with the development of a new course, "Water Power Generation."

Scholar will teach courses in mathematics and computer information systems while also giving an African American lecture series, conducting cybersecurity research, and getting involved in the university chess clubs.

Scholar will teach two courses and collaborate with the Department of Philosophy and Classical and Modern Languages. Scholar will also engage with Hispanic Organization of Women and South Plains College (both off campus organizations).

Scholar will teach an MA course in program for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and give a talk in the same series. The scholar will also offer a professional development workshop for teachers in the community.

Scholar will teach in School of Music and will focus on community music education, social change, and entrepreneurship.

SIR will teach two undergraduate courses in the Department of Economics and provide occasional lectures to a variety of audiences.

Scholar will teach classes, engage in research, visit local schools of all levels, and interact with the local community.

Scholar will teach an undergraduate playwriting course and a multidisciplinary course highlighting her expertise in systems learning in psychology, creative writing and more.

The S-I-R will teach one course in the Chemistry Department each semester, incorporating South Asian perspectives on the topical coverage, and will develop on-going research collaborations with Wesleyan faculty.

Scholar will teach 1-2 art/media classes, present on campus, in the community, and occasionally at partner institutions.
