Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program

The Fulbright Commission welcomed the first cohort of Fulbright English Teaching Assistants to the Netherlands for the 2017-2018 academic year.  Fulbright ETAs are placed in schools throughout the country, from the primary level onwards to post-secondary vocational schools.

Fulbright ETAs provide between 20-24 hours teaching assistance per week. U.S. citizens interested in applying to be a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in the Netherlands, please visit the website of the Institute of International Education (IIE) for more information about the program and how to apply.

ETAs will not be placed in the Netherlands for 2022-23.

Netherlands Fulbright Alumni Association

The Netherlands Fulbright Alumni Association (NFAA), founded in 1991, is an association of Dutch people who have studied or worked with a Fulbright grant in America.  The NFAA membership is free and accessible to all Dutch Fulbright alumni as well as participants of other education programs in America.
