Lecturing/teaching/community outreach will be done in consultation with host institution. Conducting/presenting research will ideally be done in collaboration with host institution's staff and/or resources. No preference for how scholars divide their time between teaching and research.
Medical Sciences/Education

Collaborate with staff on the delivery of specialist lectures on health professions education, pedagogy and/or research to Diploma course (average class size: 80, online) and/or medical education audience: 8-12 hours in total; Deliver faculty workshops in scholar’s area of education or research expertise in Health Profession/Medical Education, Simulation, or Professionalism.
Fulbright-Schuman European Union Affairs Program

Conduct policy-oriented research that addresses topics of common importance for the US-EU relationship and/or EU affairs and that is tenable in one, two, or three EU Member States.
Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Award

One American scholar will be selected for the Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Award, designed to support research at the intersection of policy and technology that can improve the transatlantic understanding of issues at the heart of the US-EU relationship.
Investigating Impact through Innovative Research Dissemination

The visiting U.S. scholar will progress their independent research within the thematic area of "Responsible Leadership, Sustainable Business, and/or the Future of Work," collaborating with aligned UCC business researchers and the external community to deepen disciplinary knowledge transfer and provide an enhanced international perspective to the UG and PG student community.
Geoscience/Earth Science

The award is primarily a research position. The researcher will be expected to undertake research relevant to, or on, Irish geoscience. They will be expected to build long term collaborations with Irish geoscience researchers (in universities and e.g. Geological Survey Ireland).
