Orientation Information

As part of your Fulbright grant, you are required to attend a virtual Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) taking place from July 24 to 25, 2025. You will receive an email in early June with more information. If you have any questions regarding the PDO, please email FulbrightPDO.EAP@iie.org.

Teach up to 10 hours per week in undergraduate or graduate courses within an area of specialization. Possible additional activities include conducting research, advising on curriculum and program development, assisting faculty and students with developing research skills, giving public talks, mentoring students, and otherwise engaging with the academic community.

ASEAN Research Program

Conduct collaborative research in an area of specialization on an issue of priority to ASEAN or to the U.S.-ASEAN relationship in 2-3 ASEAN countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam.
