Orientation Information

As part of your Fulbright grant, you are required to attend a virtual Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) taking place from July 7 to 9, 2026. You will receive an email in early June with more information. If you have any questions regarding the PDO, please email FulbrightPDO.MENA@iie.org.

The 2025-2026 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Programs in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, the Palestinian Territories, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates are currently suspended. The 2026-2027 candidate selection process and 2027-2028 application cycle are proceeding as usual.
