Scholar will teach courses related to her expertise in law and gender issues. Will assist in developing courses for newly introduced minor (Women, Gender & Sexuality) and will be given opportunities to be a guest lecturer.
Grantee will teach one undergraduate course per quarter, lecturing on Indian cinema and making a short film with Drexel University students in film crew positions.
S-I-R will be housed in the National Resource Center for East Asian Studies. Scholar will teach two courses and will help create a banner exhibition on East Asian Indigenous Cultures, which will be lent out to institutions in the local community.
Scholar will split their time 75/25 between the School of Global Public Health and the Durham Public Health Department. Will engage with students and faculty through seminars and K-12 teachers through workshops in the community.
Grantee will develop a Civil-Military Interaction (CMI) curriculum, conduct research, interview faculty regarding their perceptions of CMI, and provide first person accounts of the conflict in Ukraine in lectures.
Scholar will teach two undergraduate courses, assist in developing course modules, and give lecture-demonstrations for the Gender Studies, South Asian Studies, and Ethnomusicology department.
