Fulbright Scholars in Romania may teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, conduct research, or pursue professional projects according to their expertise.

Conduct policy-oriented research that addresses topics of common importance for the US-EU relationship and/or EU affairs and that is tenable in one, two, or three EU Member States. 

One American scholar will be selected for the Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Award, designed to support research at the intersection of policy and technology that can improve the transatlantic understanding of issues at the heart of the US-EU relationship.

Fulbright Scholars in Romania may teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, or conduct research according to their expertise.

Teach courses in an area of specialization and consult on curriculum development, as needed. Undertake research projects in area/s of specialization.

For teaching applications, the number of courses may be a maximum of two courses per semester, the teaching load being reduced by 50% for projects involving research activities besides teaching.
