The overall workload of the Fulbright Scholar will consist of 48 hours of teaching, split between two modules:
i) 24 hours (3 hours per week) teaching to both undergrad and master students (up to 40 students);
ii) 24 hours lectures to Ph.D. students (up to 20 students).

AIM AND FOCUS
The Fulbright Distinguished Scholar is co-hosted by the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) and the Law Faculty at Lund University (LU). The aim is to promote collaboration between human rights scholars in the United States and Sweden.

Fulbright-Schuman Distinguished Scholar Award at the College of Europe (COE - Bruges, Belgium)

One American scholar will be selected as a Fulbright-Schuman Distinguished Scholar at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium during the 2027-2028 academic year. The scholar selected for this award is expected to conduct their own research program and/or teach a course at EUI, as agreed with the hosting department.
Fulbright Iceland-National Science Foundation Distinguished Scholar Award in Arctic Research

Primarily a research grant, the recipient of this award will conduct Arctic-related research in Iceland. The project must be well-defined and completed within the grant period. Research projects should contribute significantly to the chosen field and must also result in peer-review publication and/or paper presented at a major international conference.
