Scientific research at the Natural History Museum in Vienna, one of the premier research museums in the world, which houses over 30 million artifacts in its extensive and precious historic collections in the fields of anthropology, botany, geology, mineralogy, meteorites, paleontology, and zoology.
Fulbright-IFK Senior Fellow in Cultural Studies
Conduct research at the IFK International Research Center for Cultural Studies (University of Art and Design-Linz in Vienna). Research should be relevant to the IFK's overall research program, especially to its current thematic research foci (“cultures of translation” and “different work”).
Fulbright-Botstiber Visiting Professor of Austrian-American Studies in Austria
A flexible combination of teaching, advising students, collaborative research, and/or enhancing institutional collaboration that entails teaching one or more courses (classes meet once a week for 90 minutes). The purpose of the Fulbright-Botstiber Award in Austrian-American Studies is to promote an understanding of the historical relationship between Austria and the United States.
Fulbright-Diplomatic Academy Visiting Professor of International Studies
A flexible combination of teaching and research activities that entails teaching two classes (a total of nine sessions, 90 minutes for each class) in the Diplomatic Academy’s graduate programs. The content and level of courses are to be negotiated with the Diplomatic Academy, contingent upon the grantee's fields of interest and expertise as well as the host institution's curricular needs.
Fulbright-Q21/MuseumsQuartier Artist-in-Residence
The purpose of this award is to give creative artists of all contemporary media, including but not limited to the fields in the specializations box below, an opportunity to work in residence with one or more of the cultural providers associated with Quartier21/ MuseumsQuartier (Q21).
