David A. Wirth

David's teaching and research experience is in public international law, including international environmental law, climate, sustainability, international food law, international economic law (trade in goods, foreign investment) connection to sustainability. David's teaching experience also includes Foreign Relations Law of the United States, International Organizations, Administrative Law. His current research includes “mixed” agreements of the EU (those concluded both by the EU itself and member states), U.S. food law and trade agreements, and input from scientific experts in trade agreements.
David is the first Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Sustainable Development, 2016-17. His teaching/research award was associated with the Faculty of Law at Higher School of Economics, Moscow with courses in International Economic Law and Sustainability, Regional Trade Agreements. His research and publications are on the Paris Agreement on climate (then coming into force). He had extensive speaking engagements at educational and other institutions in Moscow and St. Petersburg. David has also coached the Foreign Direct Investment moot court team.
